Personally, I don't see why they would make an announcement.
Does the ASX care if they don't ? nope.
Do the investors care if they don't ? some do, some don't.
Do the protesters who's sole intent is to destroy the LAMP care if they don't ... you bet they do ;c)
So why on earth would Lynas make the announcement unless they are legally bound to do so ?
