Timmo you probably know this but it doesn't have to be a short play to push the price lower. The smart money hopefully want the price to go higher now but maybe there is weak holders up above, 1 option is to gap it up.
The other is to test those holders. There all well and good and happy while the price is going up. It's only going up because those with big pockets are buying. So to test for potential weak holders all they need to do is stop buying and the price will stop going up.
They can sell a few with there bots and see what happens. If there is weak holders they will sell as well. When/ if that selling stops it shows the sm that the holders above that level are strong. So they start buying again. That is your low risk entry or reentry if you all ready hold. That's where you want to buy to increase your holdings in an uptrend.
