Since the main value-add for Lynas appears to be the complexity of its processing plant, and the associated chemistry, will Lynas eventually shift to a model where it accepts ore mined by other exploration companies? It seems to me that model has some advantages in that Lynas can let the market finance that exploration, and - for the marginal products - it is unlikely that they will be able to cost-effectively finance their own production plant. Quite a few tenements might open up for exploration if the ore could be shipped to Lynas.
I don't have an opinion on this yet. I'm opening this up for conversation.
