I think it shows incredible leadership to do a project so visionary and innovative. The benefits of this project are:
* They are saving about 30% of the energy just as transmission losses
* They are disintermediating the entire utility industry and financing that in a very entrepreneurial way against a new business model for a virtual power generation plant
* They are guaranteeing participation by making the upfront cost zero.
Nice ideas, but probably this is a sidetrack for a Lynas forum.
