stereotypes are misleading bb.... they typify several traits as if they are all there is and ignore the many other traits which show dissimilarity.
for eg. obese people are not, repeat NOT, simply lazy or over-eat.
its like saying all cliches are true because the cliches have a basis in fact.... but often cliches are merely an easy to grab phrase that puts people into boxes for easy description.... of course no cliche covers all variables or facts.
you do love to get defensive mate.... sometimes its well worth finding out when you're wrong and to learn from erroneous beliefs.
