People don’t just vote at elections, they also vote with their feet. The problem for ordinary people is that if enough people vote with their feet the ordinary people suffer as they lose the skilled people needed. McGowan has created a hermit kingdom, not everyone wants to live in a hermit kingdom dominated by fear. Those that have transferable skills will leave. I know of many looking to leave WA. Mostly because their industries (IT) require travel and they can’t do it.
