A doctor in the ICU in Perth has started a petition that is being signed by many. They want the borders open on the 5th as per the previous plan. There is an interview with one doctor on 6PR he states that the chances of hospitalisation from Omicron is 1 in 4 to 5000. The chances of hospitalisation from influenza is 1 in a 1000.
He stated that he talks with colleges in the east daily and refuted many of the the things McClown blurted out at the presser. These doctors are taking a big risk regarding their careers by speaking out but their conscience won't let them be silent any more.
