The latest shorts figures are out and the Myer shorts increased on the day by 3.83m but the percentage of shorts has fallen by 2.6% down to 18.25%. The reason for this is that the total shares have increased officially now by the Institutional capital raising. If the same thing happens when the retail raising becomes official then there is a big chance that Myer will no longer be right up the top of the shorts. It is interesting though that the shorts did increase in volume if not in percentage.
