Well GP - I closed my short today. We have the close of the retail offer coming up tomorrow, and for the conspiracy theorist types, PMV results are due, and a small chance that Lew could say something. I agree that the level of shorts will offer significant support to the SP on balance. IMO this crap raise was very badly handled - for two reasons. 1. they made the retail portion too big, which is a red flag for me, and 2 - they left out some excellent news on lfl sales. By my sums, which may be slightly wrong, FY14 q3 and q4 lfl sales were 0.2% then 2.1%. FY15 lfl sales were 1.7% then 1.7%. The q4 1.7 obviously coming off a strong comparator.
These two facts make the manager of this crap raise look amateur in my eyes.
