76 in the lower House, then a majority in the Senate (Upper House).
If the Senate doesn't like the bill it can be modified - a couple of times I think? Assuming the Greens will have balance of power in the Senate, this should be fine for the NBN, not so fine for mining stock holders! I've got RIO, OZL, MGX, WPL, so I hope it's over soon, one way or the other.
I've heard a couple of people in the know say 'NBN in, mining tax out', bring it on!
