I think my question is still not being understood. I am asking questions about Australian *law* and parliamentary *procedure*.
Assume these two statements are true:
1) Coalition forms a government
2) 76+ of Parliament would vote yes to a Labor type NBN
If both of these facts are true, what stops an NBN from happening?
It is NOT an answer to this question to express doubts about whether 1) or 2) is true. The assumption that both are true is the premise for the question, so just play along and assume both are true.
Is there anything that would stop Parliament in this case from introducing NBN legislation and passing it, in contradiction to what the Coalition wants?
