yes Hamas made an incursion and massacred and captured hostages.
initially the IDF response was justified. but what has followed, the last 4 months, has been an entirely different conflict.
this could have been over and hostages returned within couple of weeks given the past conflicts in Gaza. this is a different war and is no longer about hostages or Hamas. its about genocide through the worst means possible other than a tactical nuke strike.
