Maybe Israel should look at historical evidence on how Jews were treated under Muslim domination's. How were they treated as second class citizens and what sort of freedom in commerce and religious freedom were allowed.
Never forget that Jews could have disappeared of the face of the earth if they didn’t have the sanctuary’s in living in Muslim Persia. Muslims even went to the trouble of rescuing Jews from the clutches of Christian Europe.
I’m saying, hopefully something could be learnt from the past. Is being a better educated society that is the problem…were multicultural villages consisting of peasants more harmonious society?
I was reading a book about the history of the Balkan’s… The Ottoman visiting Vicar(?) was disgusted with Muslim’s going into a Church or Synagogue. When he asked a supposedly Muslim, that person said he wasn’t aware that he was a Muslim and simple followed family tradition of going to the 3 religious edifices.
