the argument could be made that Hamas would not exist but for the treatment of Gazan people. and we all know that Netanyahu birthed Hamas and supported the mob financially until recently/

yes Hamas could have released the hostages. they would have been smart to kill themselves off rather than be taken by the IDF. there are an abundance of reports of Israeli prisons torturing Palestinian prisoners.
