Agree, SOL is in some ways Australia's Berkshire Hathaway.
They actually take significant stakes with board representation.
AND, unlike BRK they pay a Franked Dividend, which has risen year on year through thick and thin for a ver ylong time.
No guarantee for the future but to me investing is looking for the skills of a management that is prepared to share the profits with the other owners.
I hold WHC and have a USD bond position in Peabody (7.5% yield to 2024), which is recovering nicely. Not worrried about currency as like to maintain a spread including other commodities exposed to renewable sector a fad that won't go away. If people want to invest in renewable energy, I have no issue witht hat, but I am dead against all forms of subsidy and conflicted people like Turnbull and Biden-Harris (Obama), with finger on the scales and preferential access to media and other people's money.
Will definitely watch and consider NHC.
