WHC got the jump on NHC yesterday. I wonder if WHC will continue to outperform NHC based on greater production and leverage to coal prices. I know NHC is a much lower cost operator with low risk assets which is why they're my preference. BUT once coal prices get to record levels, it's typically the larger volume producers that do best. That might be the case even if WHC have some issues at Narrabri and a higher cost of production.
Either way, both are going to perform very well with coal prices well above US$100.
