I did some work on this after the last couple of reports and worked out that the cost of Bengalla extracts runs at around $A63.50 per tonne while the New Acland extract, now against diminishing extract volumes runs at about $A98 per tonne. I can't find the numbers that represented New Acland costs when it was running at full or fuller capacity but I think it was around $A60A per tonne. I can never be sure of the costs as the annual presentation doesn't provide the fine detail but I suspect I'm around the Bengalla cost at the abovementioned number.
If Bengalla produces and sells between 8,000 and 10,000 tonnes for the financial year ended 31st July, 2021 it's hard to see them not being well in front when they cross the line.
