I now read that Her Honour President Kingham has excused Herself from hearing the new Land Court Hearing.
That means there will be significant delay in appointing a new Land Court Judge.
From that point a new hearing will begin again but from square 1.
it seems the lawyers from EDO acting for OCAA, are to prepare a whole new legal strategy to seek to have the mine effectively closed.
despite the urging by politicians from Labour and LNP , no positive / negative outcome is likely for at least 2 years hence.
