1) Gavea Oil and Gas Joint Venture On-shore Brazil Sergipe-Alagoas Basin Blocks 330 (ERH 40%) Drilling commenced at the PACA 2 well at Block 330 which was declared a discovery on 14 January 2009. The success of this exploration well and, in particular, the presence of strong and extensive oil shows in both sandstone and carbonate formations is expected to result in a significant increase in reserves and improved flow rates once geological modelling is completed in 1Q2009.
Flow testing of the PACA 2 well is expected to take place during February 2009.
