Easy to get hang up on the fluffy headlines. I perfer to look a lttle deeper at reality.

They have been saying for many months (maybe longer than a year) that they are close to a deal, yet nothing ever eventuates.

Again vague news about tariffs IF a deal is reached which is still far from certain...not changing my personal view that nothing substancial will be agreed and even if it does people will soon realise it will make no difference. There is too much debt and economies are slowing under the weight of it...either can default or inflate through currency devaluation.

Short term games will continue to be played, but trend is our friend and gold will eventually win out.

Sure NST getting pounded right now, but long term they're continue to grow and increase their dividends and when the financial system collapses gold will be in high demand...
