I get some comment from a few young people (F+M). there does seem to be validity in that view as too little has been done to encourage renewable energy investment, particularly baseload, eg. battery storage and the ***kup by Taylor of Snowy 2, which has left them with the sense that our grid system may fail. the Lab plan to increase investment and the focus on achieving baseload generation through energy storage seems not to have cut-through as its all been Bowen announcements and so washes over the heads of younger people who are too busy with work and family to keep well informed about developments. millennial voters though seem to be too busy having a good time and not too worried about the details. they have no memory of the problems identified with large scale nuclear reactors of the older types. and even Fukushima is only a vague memory to these kids. there needs to be a plebiscite before any action is taken on LS nuke.

We are already getting nuclear subs and this also will have a major impact on the next generation of youth and our leaders in industry and politics. Australia needs to be prepared for the future with these youth leaders. being well versed in the facts.
