For God's sake, why would Orbis sell when the picture is now so clear that VPG is a going concern, and has cash backing per share of 13.35c/share at least now. Orbis's avg cost was only 5.3c, if I remember correctly.

13.35c was figure at 31 /12/2008, they had assets sale and earnings after that.

I am actually expecting them to buy more at such price when things are clear. Watch out for an announcement on Monday/Tuesday.

I admire these guys in restoring fairness and efficiency in the capital market. Those so call mainstream brokers are just serving the fund managers who only look at top 200/300, and are dumping carelessly and relentlessly other people's money at ridiculous prices.

This market needs value investors like Orbis.

I'd say that from now on there will be more upside than downside, despite the short term volatility.
