Get your facts right, Paul Hyslop was never a used car dealer.

He set up the 'Park N Sell Car Fair in Manukau' and 'Ellerslie Car Fairs' at the racecourse 30 years ago.

These were both well-known venues, Auckland institutions, that operated every Sunday between 9am-12pm and I believe the Ellerslie one is still going, not sure about Manukau.

I have previously sold a couple of cars there. It's a great set-up. You take your car in, pay a fee to be there and buyers approach you so you do the deal yourself. Venue provides a lot of onsite facilities like vehicle checks, insurance etc. Over 1000 cars there every week.

All above board and a very entrepreneurial enterprise.
