In my experience it would be a bad idea for a Government to make an announcement at the end of a consultation period, before looking at the submissions. And no they wouldn’t have looked at some of the early ones, they would wait for everything to come in, look at them, then make a plan and announce it. Just my opinion but I won’t be waiting for any big gas announcement this week as people seem to be talking about.
