    Yes Taffy, put like that there would still be a market.

    In the case of island groups, a different approach might be more appropriate. MAK Water install modular desalination plants powered by diesel, in remote localities. I was thinking a CETO 6 array could be located in a high energy location and feed power to a number of islands, each of which had their own modular desalination plant, (decentralised freshwater production if you like).

    This would make it possible to use wave energy power to produce fresh water to islands in sheltered waters, inside the group.

    It would only be feasible in highly populated island groups that currently rely on diesel, but there are some good examples of that around the world, (some are already on CWE's radar).
