The business market will probably drop but it doesn't make a huge amount of difference , The aircraft flying almost all of the MEL-SYD-BNE have been 737s with seat configs of 174 passenger seats and only 12 of those seats are business class . Ok so businesses may drop off a bit but then you still have the QF frequent flyer program so those seats will almost always be full and as the FFs are getting their rewards it will make them more likely to fly again in future with Qantas . So whilst it will cause some pain overall it isn't all bad .
