That is besides the point, hindsight is perfect and infallible. As Warren buffet says, the rear view mirror is always clearer than the windshield, I like to think that they are opposite in size in the investing world.
We are talking about value investing and business fundamentals here, not speculation. Back then it looked as if it was about to all fall down as well, no one knows when but we can be sure with a degree of certainty it is coming and it is closer now than it was a year ago. What happens a year from now is more important than what happened a year ago.
That is besides the point, hindsight is perfect and infallible....
