As you probably aren't aware I used to have a sell / not held disclosure to indicate that I was shorting this cash incinerator. However, this disclosure confused many of the the simple minds that dwell in this forum so I went back to sell / not held.
My predictions of the share price haven't been correct - yet. However, I've been totally correct in my prections of Qantas losing money so far. Imagnie that, little ole me being correct and the company's CEO Alan Joyce being completely and uttely wrong? Return to 100%+ of pre-covid capacity by the end of 2021... LOLOL! It ain't gonna happen for many, many years to come.
I will be proven to be correct in my preciction that Qantas will run out of money before even coming close to returning to profitablity. So it's easy to sit back and keep opening new short positions until the sharemarket wakes up to reality OR until Qantas runs announces the next capital raising. I'm a patient man.
In the meantime, take a look at the price of oil.
