I just checked and I pay around USD1.50 per day funding charges on 50x TSLA shorts.
That's around USD 550 per annum on 50 x USD 730 nominal position (I only need 10% margin) = $36,500, so 550 / 36,500 = 1.5%.
Interest on short positions are lower then long positions - I guess that you didn't know that.
I just checked and I pay around USD1.50 per day funding charges...
