On the topic of the QAN chart.....the ~$5.9 top has been confirmed 4x in the past 9-10 months.
However the lows keep recording new lows. First $4.7 then $4.48 and then most recently $4.385. Even a modest fall today (which is likely IMO) is going to record yet another new low. The chart looks bearish and when combined with rising costs to do business (jet fuel, cost of debt, rising wage costs and supply chain issues), I think QAN is well on it's way to testing the $3.1 level.
The share price (IMO) is simply following the extremely poor management of the airline. Frequenty flyers are 'frequently' tossed to the wayside and given service that would not even be acceptable by 'one off' Qantas flyers. Here is the most recent example:
