I didn't place a time prediction on my post regarding getting back to pre-Covid domestic numbers, but you did, and your prediction is more conservative than mine surprisingly, so thanks. Remember that pre-Covid domestic also included tourists travelling within the country, but int'l borders are still shut, so I thought it would be mid-next year, but OK, I'll come down to your figure as a guess.
As for our day-care-centre premiers, if the vaccines don't open borders, nothing will. Since the last pandemic ended in 1923, we've had a great depression, a second world war, a Korean and Vietnam War, another global pandemic (HIV) and a flurry of sports events all without social distancing.
So, I'm glad your estimate is more optimistic than mine because if vaccines don't do it, I'm gonna get ready to lockdown in Bunnings to fashion weapons for the zombie phase, or get ready to fight Skynet's machines.
