The reality of all this for the SP is almost ZERO
Air travel worldwide is on a rapid incline
Ticket prices at an all time high
Market Derivates trades have moved to a late year boom from which point new news and bets will be place
All good news events for airline will drive the price higher
Not till all the good news that can be extracted is gone will fundaments return to share prices
Its is time to cover those shorts and IF you made money move on but most probably a loss take it as a learning experience . Vital industries are not a good short no mater how obvious they may seem.
The risk reward for shorts is not in their favour
