Well QAN shareholders and customers and travellers are already holding the bag (figuratively) for the cumulative impact of QAN under performance (relative to executive remuneration) for more than a decade. It was the QAN CEO who has blamed anyone and everyone including his loyal travellers when they returned to travel post pandemic. Probably this is just a PR media stunt to distract attention for the more probable worsening of the entire airlines operations and the impending release of the QAN market report later in August.
