Fair point re QAN current finacial peril, if the USA, global and with it the local economy falls into deep recession, QAN's predicament will deteriorate rapidly. Then the quandary for the Federal Govt (still waiting for some inputs from the Federal Transport Minister, where are you?) is to bail out again with more money from you and I, or renationalise in whole or in part, or take some equity position. QAN has no more friends in Canberra, LNP out of office for up to 2 terms at least. The main issue is the security and travel needs of the island content, and one can only hope the Federal Govt will remove the entire Board, CEO and those over remunerated managers (so called) at least partly responsible for the QAN situation post pandemic.
