As I previously stated, I have never held any airline/airport shares and am not a shorter, as I wouldn't even know how to do it (and while some criticise the view as ill-informed, I don't overly approve of 'going short' even though it's said to be an essential feature of the market).
But I hold other transport-related shares such as LAU and QUB.
In my view, the vast majority of airlines are a very poor investment, bearing in mind the true meaning of the latter implies medium or long term, not the sometimes day-long view of a trader.
