Any statistician will tell you that increased activity results naturally in increased events. If you drive your car all day, there's a greater chance of an incident / collision than if it were in your driveway for most of the day.
Qantas is literally flying millions of hours each year, and now that travel has returned with a gusto, these incidents will occur as well. The crews have been professional in every instance and no chances were taken. It was all done, literally, "by the book." QAN is well known to have procedures in place more stringent than the recommendations laid down by IATA, CASA, and the aircraft manufacturer specifications.
These were occurring prior to the pandemic and little was said.
