Lol you can only pray it affects the share price Mr shorter ....... maybe if people recognised the fact that aside from the engine failure ( and Qantas isn't the only airline to suffer that ) that currently airlines around the world are looking at having only one pilot in the cockpit ( which is a terrible idea and ICAO should never allow it to happen ) . Qantas has also probably looked into this possibility and i believe we are seeing pilots turning around for reasons where previously they might normally continue on to the destination but are trying to make a point that 2 pilots are required in the cockpit at all times and so they are trying to find a reason to turn around . Cannot say for sure that that is what is happening but it has been done before where employees try to find a reason to cease normal operations in trying to hammer home a point .
Aircraft problems occur on many flights , some more serious than others but the good news is that Qantas pilots are probably the best trained pilots in the world ( a reason other airlines often call on Qantas to provide training or use the Qantas training manual as a reference as well as seconding check captains to help investigate their mishaps/accidents ) .
