I thought it appropriate to post this here.
I sold out of my remaining holdings in Qantas this morning. There's just too much selling pressure right now. The falling AUD, rising oil prices, concerted effort by the mainstream media to destroy the board, its ongoing legal challenges, and uncertain economic conditions moving forward are all major headwinds. The majority of trades today are large sells.
I'm happy to buy back in under $5 but for now, inflationary pressures and continued rising interest rates are a cause for concern.. Pity it never got to the magic 7, but there's always next time.
I'm happy I took a chunk of profit on the wave up.
