I don't think there are any politicians that would be brave enough to renationalise Qantas. The national debt is too high and Qantas would be too difficult for them to manage. Albo's relationship with Qantas will go quiet now, they have had too much bad press about the relationship. I don't believe the airline is collapsed, but they need to take corrective action or it will at some point. They need to be seen as a reliable way to travel without creating issues for travellers. People need to go on a plane without believing they are being preached at, and regional areas need to believe that Qantas is a trusted partner rather than the only option to travel to an area.
