As I've told numerous friends, if you want internationally to arrive on the day scheduled and close to or on time, do not fly Qantas or Jetstar.

Quite amazing that despite competitors not being domiciled here, cancellations and even late running are relatively rare but with Qantas, it's an all-too-common occurrence.

For instance, the 25 and 27 October 2023 QF3/QF4 trips Sydney-Auckland-New York and return were cancelled. Perhaps this had something to do with Israeli evacuation flights but irrespective, very poor.

Yet on many occasions the QAN fares are higher, and service on board (including poor food) is sub-par, with too many staff displaying arrogance.
