My forecast is either Rex, Alliance or Bonza will collapse in the next three years, especially if Australia enters a recession, particularly if mining cools off. Australia has never been able to sustain more than two major airlines. The graveyard is littered with those that promised it all, then fell into the gutter.

Alliance shareholders could have had QAN shares at 4.70 in a take over deal, but the Marxist-Leninist ACCC blocked it.
Some wise punter here advised us to buy into Rex when it was $1.30. Had I listened, I'd be nursing a 40% loss.
