Covid is a real worry. Just look at the outbreak of the double mutation variant in India that's literally exploding and has already spread to the UK.
If it's proven that any of the variants of concern (Brazilian, South African, India) can evade the antibodies generated by the vaccines, we are stuffed.
Any plans the government has regarding travel bubbles (let alone reopening international borders) could be thrown into turmoil.
