The results today are uninspiring, especially given how QAN has a largely elderly international and domestic fleet of aircraft.
Internationally, a host of major and minor competitors have younger fleets than QAN.
While not its fault, deliveries of the domestic A220-300s did not meet target, with only two of a planned three delivered during FY 24.
SH dividends may resume from 2H 25 "subject to Board approval". IIRC it's been 2019 since QAN SH have been paid a dividend.
The result includes lower profits from mainline (Qantas brand) domestic and international flying divisions. The latter is starting to come under a lot of pressure.
