You seem to apply a very broad definition of "Corruption", Geoff. Still, that's your view, doesn't worry me. Nothing is likely to change any time soon, so it is best just to relax.

One of the most interesting paragraphs in Joe Aston's Book, "The Chairman's Lounge", came from quoting former Federal Pollie, The Hon John Sharp AM, (ex?) Non-Executive Chairman and Independent Director of Regional Express Holding Ltd (REX).

Joe Aston states "Sharp perfectly summarises an enduring mystery: “The disappointing part is that no matter how badly Qantas treats its customers, they keep flying Qantas. It’s extraordinary.”"

This amazes me. (A) I can't agree with Joe - What enduring mystery?, and (B) No wonder REX went into Administration, if they had a surprising lack of understanding of the mindset of Qantas customers.

The major reasons behind why people keep flying Qantas are pretty darn obvious, if you ask me. Price, is often, just a secondary, or tertiary consideration.
