On Monday July 19, the SYD airport site suggests that QAN is to operate only 28 flights from SYD (normal total for that day of the week of 'red tails' leaving would be at least 150), and quite a few of the 28 are turboprops bound for rural cities in NSW like Albury and Tamworth, while the subsidiary Jetstar amazingly does not seem to be planning a single flight out of Sydney Airport, NSW.

The financial pain continues. The number of inbound flights to SYD cancelled by QAN and Jetstar will be similar, and there are also many cancelled flights from Melbourne given Victoria's also in lockdown.

Just two jets are operating from SYD to Melbourne tomorrow: usually QAN would have around 35 'red tails' departing for Locktoria's capital.

There may be more QAN cancellations as sometimes further flights could be cancelled by tonight, and like all transport operations, on occasion there are cancellations on the day if aircraft break down, there's fog/other adverse weather or multiple other reasons.
