Yes, it's amazing that so many investors can ignore reality, and future warning signs, that have been with us regarding Australian airline stocks (and, pre-takeover offer, SYD) plus FLT/WEB since at least March 2020.
I understand that 'Mr Market' looks forward six to nine months but the picture for QAN still looks bleak then, despite USA airlines domestically experiencing demand surges. Australia is not the USA.
