To think that Joe Hockey wanted to introduce Austerity. If the budget measures went through then Australia will definitely be in a severe recession as the budget targeted middle to low income workers and families. The budget would have further eroded the cost of living. Question now is how deep will this recession be? Going by the levels of private debt out there in the economy things could become really ugly. Lets wait and see.
