Interesting they spelt defence with an s and not a c, signifying to me they are going after us defense not the Australian defence.
Hipaa is for health data.
In Australia to sell cloud to defence and govt a number of things need to happen;
Asd certification (compliance) which from start to finish takes 18 months approx at a cost of 100 k to a vendor; us have an equivalent and no they are not transferable cross borders. Asd is part of defence. So this could mean gsw is going after govt as a sector not just defence.
So in the CR they mention hipaa and defense, so that says to me they want to expand into the govt space ( as its defense that does the cloud certification) and health sector.... two massive verticals.
