Reading the announcement in detail it seems he has sold from a number of entities and kept all his remaining shares in their super fund.
Who knows why he sold? There was the opportunity in one go to get rid of in a couple of big lines of stock, something that hasn't been there for a while.
Who knows, maybe those entities needs the cash / tax losses leading into tax time?
Still holding a fairly large investment in a tax effective vehicle, so without knowing for sure, would suggest they will hold the restas there's no major tax effective reason to sell at loss in SMSF.
