Because if a whole market is down, it’s hard for a single stock to go up unless there’s inside trader or good announcement on the way.
Think about it, Melbourne has the least number of COVID cases for 3 weeks. Vaccine announced from Russia (that’s subjective) and so on. What does asx decide to do? Oh I’m going red.
Isnt jt rubbish?
Look over New Zealand exchange for example. They had a new 14 cases today and their country is in lockdown since yesterday. Their stock exchange goes up.
